Chart of accounts
Your tree with its codes, Arabic and English names, the type of every account and its parent. A code you already have here is skipped, never duplicated.
Bring your chart of accounts, customers, suppliers, items, fixed assets, opening balances and open invoices. You see everything that will be written before it is written, it is applied as one transaction, and it can all be undone in one click.
No credit card. We activate your account within business hours, and your 14 free days start the moment we do.
Qoyod is pulled directly with an API key. Everything else is exported as CSV files and uploaded, and the columns map themselves in Arabic and English.
Everything you need to start your first month on Basmtak with books that are right from day one.

With their names, VAT numbers, commercial registrations, email, mobile, payment terms and credit limit. A company that both buys from you and sells to you is recorded once, on both sides.
Stocked products and services, with their codes, sale and purchase prices, cost and unit. An opening quantity becomes real stock, valued at its cost.
The register with the purchase date, cost, salvage value and useful life, plus the accumulated depreciation up to the changeover date — so no asset is depreciated twice.
The opening trial balance becomes one balanced opening journal on the changeover date, and any difference is named for what it is in the opening-balance equity account.
Whatever your customers have not paid yet comes across as a real document with its balance and due date, so aging and statements work from day one.
Whatever you still owe your suppliers, with its numbers, references and balance, so your payables and their aging are right immediately.
The wizard lives inside the product: Settings → Data migration.
Where you are moving from, and the day your balances start on Basmtak — usually the first day of your financial year, or the first day you work here.
Qoyod: paste the API key and we pull. Everything else: export one CSV per dataset and upload it. Each dataset has a ready-made template with our columns if you would rather start from that.
«اسم العميل», Customer Name and Display Name are the same thing. We propose a match for every column, and you correct whatever we got wrong from a list.
You see what will be created, updated and skipped and why, whether the opening journal balances, and any account type we inferred so you can confirm it. Nothing is applied until every problem is resolved.
Everything is written in a single database transaction: all of it or none of it. And as long as you have not worked on the migrated records yet, the Undo button puts your books back exactly as they were.
The preview was written for an accountant to read: whether the trial balance balances, which account sits on which side, and where the trial balance and the open invoices might count receivables twice. Invite your accountant into your business with their own permissions, or let their firm run it from the firm dashboard.
The best changeover date is the first day of your financial year or the first day of a month. You close the period in the old system, export the trial balance as at that date, and start here from it. Every balance and the opening stock are recorded on that date.
Yes. The trial is 14 days on the full plan, and migration is included in every plan. Try it on your real books, and if you do not like what you see, the undo puts everything back.
You correct it before the preview, from a list for each column. And what we do not understand we do not guess quietly: an account type inferred from its name is shown to you to confirm, and a number or date we could not read appears as a named problem with its row number.
If the trial balance carries the receivables balance and you also bring the open invoices in as documents, receivables would be counted twice. The preview spots it and warns you, and with one option you leave the receivables, payables and inventory accounts out of the opening journal and let the documents build them.
It is used for the pull request alone and is never stored. We suggest revoking it in Qoyod once the migration is done.
Exporting from your old system is the longest part. The pull or upload, the mapping and the preview are done in one sitting, and applying takes seconds.
The trial is 14 days with no card, and migration is included in every plan.
