Moving from Qoyod to Basmtak Books
Qoyod is the one source we pull from directly: paste the API key from Settings → API key in your Qoyod account and we read the chart of accounts, customers, suppliers, products and open documents. The key is used for this migration and nothing else.

Opening balances are not pulled over the API — export them from Qoyod as a file and upload them in the same step.

Customers and suppliers
With their names, VAT numbers, commercial registrations, addresses and payment terms.
Items
Stocked and non-stocked products and services, with their units, categories and prices.
Opening balances
The opening trial balance as one balanced opening journal.
Open invoices and bills
Whatever is still unpaid, with its age, so your aging is right from day one.
Steps
1 · Pick your source
Qoyod, Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo, or an Excel/CSV file.
2 · Upload or connect
Qoyod is pulled directly with an API key you copy from your settings there. Everything else is uploaded as files.
3 · Mapping is automatic
Columns and values are matched automatically in Arabic and English — «اسم العميل» and Customer Name are the same thing — and you correct anything we got wrong.
4 · Preview before any write
You see exactly what will be created and what will be skipped and why, before your ledger is touched.
5 · A full undo
A whole import is reversed in one action, including its journals and balances.
