What happens when you outgrow a plan?

You move up whenever you like, and nothing you have paid for is lost.

Upgrade at any time

You buy a term of the new plan, stacked on top of what is left of the old one, and the new features apply the moment the invoice is paid. The remainder of your subscription is never confiscated.

An extra user mid-term

Billed only for what is left of your term, at the rate you signed up on rather than a new one.

Existing customers keep their price

Anyone who subscribed before these plans keeps their price and every feature for as long as they renew. We do not reprice a running contract.

Common questions

What everyone asks before subscribing

Can an individual subscribe?

No. Basmtak Books is business software licensed per establishment: the account is opened in the name of a registered establishment with a commercial registration and a VAT number, and the establishment's administrator then issues accounts to its staff and accountants. It is not sold to individuals or for personal use.

Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. The trial is 14 days with no card, on the full Pro plan. When it ends the books simply become read-only — nothing is deleted and nothing is charged — and you pick your plan when you decide.

Is the price per user?

No. The price is per business and includes a number of admin users that depends on the plan (5 on Grow). Each extra user is 15 SAR a month, billed for the remainder of your term if you add one mid-way.

I have more than one company. Do I pay twice?

No. Every plan includes one business, and each extra business under the same account is 30% off the plan's price, with its own books, numbering and VAT return. One account, one subscription.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. Prices are before VAT (15%), which is added on the invoice, and you receive a tax invoice in your business name with your VAT number — for exactly the amount the calculator showed you.

What happens to my books if I stop paying?

They stay exactly as they are: readable and exportable, but nothing can be written until the subscription is renewed. We never delete anyone's books.

Can I change plan mid-term?

Yes, upwards whenever you like: you buy a term of the new plan, stacked on what is left of the old one, and nothing is confiscated. If you stop renewing, the paid term stays yours to its last day.

I am an existing customer. Does my price change?

No. Anyone who subscribed before these plans renews at their old price with every feature for as long as they stay on their plan. The new plans are offered to new customers only.

Is e-invoicing a paid extra?

No. E-invoicing in both phases and the VAT return are in every plan, from the smallest to the largest.

Do I need Basmtak HR?

No. The product is complete on its own. Posting payroll journals from Basmtak HR is a feature for those who use it, and it is added to the same account without moving your books.

How do I bring my data from my current software?

Migration is in every plan: chart of accounts, customers, suppliers, items, opening balances and open invoices, with a preview before anything is written and a full undo.
