Items: name, SKU, barcode, type, unit, tax, sale price, purchase price, stocked, description.
Some columns take set values: contact kind is customer or supplier, item type is product, raw_material or service, tax is standard, zero or exempt, and stocked is 1 or 0.
An uploaded file must be CSV or text. Got an Excel file? Copy the table out of it and paste it straight in at the next step.

Open the import window
Open Customers & suppliers or Products & services and press Import. Then either Choose a CSV file (1) or paste the table into the box (2). One import takes up to 2,000 rows.
Under Map the columns the system reads your headers and suggests a field for each. Check them, and set any column you do not want to Ignore. The import button stays off until the name column is mapped. If your sheet has no kind column, rows are added as customers, unless you had Suppliers selected in the list before opening the window.
4
Import and read the result
Press the Import button at the bottom of the window, which shows the row count. A summary tells you how many were added, updated and skipped, and a row with an error is listed by number and name so you can fix it and send it again.
Existing records are updated, not duplicated: a customer matches on code, then VAT number, then name, and an item on SKU, then barcode, then name. Check your sheet first, because its values replace the current ones. The national address is not imported, so complete it on the card of each tax invoice customer.
