Open the board
In the side menu, under Daily work, choose Clients. This entry appears for anyone working in the books of a business that is not their own, not for the owner of a single business. The board lists every business where you hold an active membership, and nothing else.
An empty board means nobody has invited you yet. See the guide on adding a client to your board.
Read the figures at the top
Five cards sum up your practice: Clients, Late, Items waiting, Payroll not in and Clear. Pick the month you are working on under Close month (number 1). The screen opens on last month, because that is the one usually being closed.
Understand the order of the rows
The order is not alphabetical. Late clients come first, then those with work waiting, then the clear ones.
- Late: an invoice past its due date, or a period that should have been closed.
- Waiting: drafts, unposted entries or unmatched bank lines.
- Clear: none of those.
Switch to the month overview
Press Month overview to see each client's period status, drafts, unmatched lines, VAT return, overdue receivable, open alerts and last activity. Click any column heading to sort by it.
Go into a client's books
Click the client's row or Open and you land in their books with the permissions they gave you. There is no separate password per client, and the same menu brings you back to the board.
