Open the transfer
On the Banking page press Transfer between accounts, or inside any account press New transaction, then Transfer between accounts. A cash box counts as an account, so depositing cash into the bank is a transfer too. You need at least two accounts.
Fill it in and save
Choose From and To, enter the Amount and Date, add a Memo if you like, and press Save. One entry posts and both balances change at once.

You cannot transfer between accounts in different currencies. That is a currency purchase, recorded as a journal showing both amounts and the rate. To undo a wrong transfer, record the opposite transfer for the same amount.
Do not record it twice when matching
A transfer shows on both banks' statements. Record it once only, from this screen or from a statement line using Transfer. On the other bank, press Match against the same entry and do not create a new one.
