From Sales open the Sales orders tab and press New sales order, or press Convert to sales order on a quote. It fills in like an invoice, plus a Delivery date. Under each stocked item (1) you see On hand, Reserved and Available. Available is what is on hand less what confirmed orders hold.
Press Confirm order (2). The order takes a number and its quantities are reserved. At this stage nothing leaves the warehouse, no journal is posted and nothing goes to ZATCA.
If stock is short, what is available is reserved and the rest goes to the Backorders tab, to be reserved automatically when goods arrive. To change this, open Settings, then Sales orders and reservations, and choose to refuse under When stock is short. Set Reservation lifetime (days) if holds should lapse on their own.

Deliver the goods
On the order page press Deliver. The remaining lines appear. Type what leaves today under Deliver now, then press the Deliver now button. A delivery note is created and the goods leave stock. If some remain, the status becomes Partially delivered, and the Order progress card tracks each line.
4
Invoice it
Press Create invoice for a draft to check, or Create and issue invoice to go straight through. If there are unbilled delivery notes, the invoice covers them and does not move the goods a second time. Otherwise it bills the lines not yet delivered, and the goods leave with it.
5
Cancelling an order
Press Cancel order and give the reason. Everything reserved for it is released.
An order whose goods have all been delivered cannot be cancelled, and the cancel button disappears at that point. Goods that have already left do not come back by cancelling the order.
