Choose how you work in the welcome window
The first time you sign in, a welcome window opens. Pick the description closest to you, such as Business owner or Accountant, then choose Guided if this is your first accounting program. Press Start the tour for a short walk-through, or Later to begin straight away.
You can change these choices at any time, and they do not touch your figures.
Complete your company details
In the side menu open Settings and enter your VAT number, CR number and national address. They print on your invoices, and ZATCA requires the national address on every tax invoice.
Check the chart of accounts and VAT rates
The chart of accounts is the list of headings every money movement is recorded under, such as bank, sales and expenses. Open Chart of accounts and check it has accounts in it. If the dashboard is empty, press Start the chart of accounts. Then scroll down Settings to the VAT card, and if it shows no rates press Create the tax rates.
Enter your balances if you are already trading
If your business was running before today, bring across what it owns and owes through Migrate data: the bank balance, what customers owe you and what you owe suppliers. If the business is brand new, skip this step.
Add a customer and a product, then issue your first invoice
Add your customers under Customers & suppliers and what you sell under Products & services. Then open Sales, then Invoices, and press New invoice. When you issue it the journal entry is created for you, so you never write it by hand.

Connecting your business to ZATCA is done from E-invoicing in the side menu, and has its own guide.
Follow your progress on the setup checklist
At the top of the Dashboard you will find the Let's set up your books card. Each step you finish ticks itself, so you can see what is left. When you want someone to help, add them from Businesses & people.
