Copy the API key from Qoyod
In Qoyod open General settings, then API key, and copy the key.
Pull the data
In Migrate data pick Qoyod, set the date and press Start. Paste the key into API key (number 1) and press Pull the data (number 2). The chart of accounts, contacts, items, balances and open invoices and bills come across. Documents never issued in Qoyod, such as drafts and voids, are left behind.
The key is used for this pull only and is never stored. We suggest revoking it in Qoyod once the migration is done. Fixed assets do not come with the pull: upload them as a file on their own row.
Fix the balance date with a trial balance
Qoyod gives balances as they stand on the day of the pull, not on the opening date. When the two differ you see the warning The pulled balances are not as at the opening date. The fix, after the pull: in Qoyod open Reports, then Trial Balance for the period ending the day before the opening date, export it to Excel and upload it as it is on the Opening trial balance row.
Pull with the key first, then upload the trial balance. Qoyod uses account codes that mean other accounts here, and the pull is what translates them. Without it you may see This code is a different account here.
Match, review and apply
Press Next, then Review. When you pull open invoices too, the receivable and payable lines are left out of the opening entry automatically so they are not counted twice. Check the figures and press Apply the migration.
