Add a warehouse

Record every place you keep goods, so the system knows how much of each item sits where.

This feature comes with certain plans. If it is not in your menu, it is not in your business's plan.

Open the warehouse list

In the side menu choose Inventory, then press Manage warehouses on the On hand tab. Your business starts with one main warehouse, and everything you add appears here. Press New warehouse.
Open the warehouse list

Fill in the warehouse

The system proposes a Warehouse code, which you can change only before saving. Type the Arabic name, add the English name and Address if you like, then press Save.
If you use cost centres, pick the Cost centre here. Adjustments and count differences in this warehouse are then charged to that branch by themselves.
Fill in the warehouse

Choose the default warehouse

Tick Default warehouse if goods should leave from and arrive at this one on every document that does not name a warehouse. To change the default, open the other warehouse and tick it there. It cannot be cleared on the current one directly.
With more than one warehouse, a Warehouse field appears on invoices and bills, on the document and on each line. With only one warehouse the field does not appear at all.

Stop a warehouse you no longer use

A warehouse cannot be deleted. Open it with Edit and clear In use. It is no longer offered on new adjustments or transfers, and whatever it holds stays where it is.
Transfer the goods to another warehouse first, so no stock is left sitting in a stopped one. The last warehouse in use cannot be stopped.
