Pick the report by your question

  • Did we make a profit? Income statement.
  • What do we own and owe? Balance sheet.
  • Where did the money go? Cash flow.
  • Will cash last the coming weeks? Cash forecast.
  • What is behind this figure? Account statement.
  • Are the books sound? Trial balance and Month-end review.
  • How much must we sell? Break-even and contribution margin.
  • Who owes us? Aging.

Set the period and open the detail

In most reports set From and To and press Run. The range starts at the beginning of the fiscal year and ends today. The balance sheet reads one date, in As of.

Figures open up: press an account in any statement to open its Account statement, then press a movement to open its journal.

The financial reports read posted journals only. Drafts do not appear, so if a figure looks short, look for drafts that were not posted.

Export, print or schedule

At the top of a report you have Export CSV, Export XLSX, Export PDF and Print. The account statement has no PDF because it can run very long. To get a report by email regularly, press Schedule (2 in the first picture) on the Reports screen.
