# Basmtak Books (بصمتك للمحاسبة)

> Basmtak Books is Arabic-first cloud accounting software for businesses and accounting firms in Saudi Arabia, with e-invoicing integrated with ZATCA's Fatoora platform (phase 2), VAT returns, inventory and bank reconciliation. It is part of the Basmtak family with Basmtak HR (https://basmtak.com) and Basmtak Cashier (https://cashier.basmtak.com/welcome).

Hosted in Saudi Arabia (Oracle Cloud, Jeddah). Double-entry, balanced at the database; posted journals are never edited, only reversed; full audit trail. Amounts in SAR to the halala, bilingual Arabic and English documents, Hijri and Gregorian dates. Operated by Clouds Line for Information Technology, Riyadh (VAT 310299890500003).

## What it does

- Sales: quotes, tax invoices, simplified invoices, credit notes, receipts, customer portal and card payment links (Tap, PayTabs).
- ZATCA e-invoicing phase 2: device onboarding (CSID), UBL 2.1 XML, signing, clearance and reporting, QR and hash chain.
- Tax: VAT return in ZATCA box order, withholding tax, Zakat.
- Purchases: purchase orders, supplier bills, debit notes, quick expenses, reading of scanned supplier invoices (Pro and Enterprise), maker-checker approvals.
- Banking: statement import, rules, matching and reconciliation.
- Inventory: warehouses, weighted-average cost, counts, cost of goods sold; manufacturing with bills of materials.
- Fixed assets and depreciation, budgets, cost centres (branch, department, project), job costing, multi-currency.
- Reports: trial balance, general ledger, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables and payables aging.
- Payroll from Basmtak HR posts itself as a journal entry with GOSI lines by branch and department. Basmtak Cashier posts every shift.
- Accounting-firm workspace: many clients in one dashboard, bulk month-end close, per-client permissions.
- Migration from Qoyod (live pull), Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo or Excel.
- Partner API keys and webhooks.
- Mobile app «بصمتك دفاتر» for iPhone and iPad.

Per establishment per month in SAR, before 15% VAT, on annual billing (monthly billing costs more):

- Start, SAR 79: one shop or practitioner. Invoices, bank, VAT return, e-invoicing.
- Grow, SAR 109: buys, sells and stocks, with several branches. Adds purchases, inventory, multi-currency, cost centres.
- Pro, SAR 179: a business with an accountant. Adds fixed assets, budgets, projects, manufacturing, audit log, payroll journals.
- Enterprise, SAR 269: groups of companies and API users. Adds approvals and the partner API.

E-invoicing and VAT returns are included in every plan.

- Who is it for? Businesses in Saudi Arabia from a single shop or practitioner to groups of companies, and accounting firms that keep many clients' books. No accountant is needed to issue invoices and file the VAT return.
- Does it do ZATCA e-invoicing phase 2? Yes, in every plan: it is integrated with ZATCA's Fatoora platform (onboarding, signing, clearance and reporting) inside the product, with no third-party unit.
- Which devices? Any web browser on Windows or Mac, plus the Basmtak Books app for iPhone and iPad. There is no Android app.
- Does it work offline? No, it is a cloud service and needs an internet connection. For a shop counter that must keep selling offline, Basmtak Cashier sells offline and posts every shift to Basmtak Books.
